Salam Maal Hijrah 1433 H

Salam Maal Hijrah kepada semua umat Islam di seluruh dunia.

Muda sebelum tua, kaya sebelum miskin, lapang sebelum sempit, sihat sebelum sakit, hidup sebelum mati.
Sedih rasenya bila kadang2 kita terlupa pasal semua nikmat tersebut. Peringatan untuk diri saya sendiri sebagai insan yang tidak lepas dr melakukan kesilapan.

1. Sihat sebelum sakit

Contohnya I had a fever before and sore throat now.. Keje x boleh buat, mood swing, hati sedih and badan x selesa..masa tu barulah kita menghargai betapa pentingnya kesihatan tu..Kdg2 kita terlupe semua tu semasa kita sihat..kita abaikan kesihatan and terlalu fikirkan keje. Once dh sakit barulah kita mula sedar.
 

    2.  Lapang sebelum sempit

Masa kita banyak terbuang dan lalai dengan kehidupan dunia. Bila ade masa terluang, we used that time to watch movie, chatting, and ape2 je yg x berfaedah. Bila tiba due date, barulah terhegeh2 nk siapkan assignments sampai x tdo berjaga all night. Kesannya, badan jd x sihat sbb tdo x cukup. From this point we already wasted two very valuable gifts from Allah which are Good Health and Free Time. Kitalah manusia paling rugi di muka bumi ini.

    3.  Kaya sebelum miskin

Bila kita ade duit yg mencukupi, kita bazirkan dengan beli barang2 yang diperlukan. I'm not trying to deny that shopping is a therapy for girls..but somehow we need to control our desires. Kalau kita dah ade or kita x perlukan, don't need to buy. Beli ape yang kita perlu je. Dlu, I seorang yang agak boros. Whatever I want, no matter how much it costs, I will definitely buy just for the sake of myself. I admit it was kinda fun to get whatever we wanted..But after my mum gave me some advice, I sedar yg I sangat rugi. If I save my money, I can use it for emergency time when I really need the money. We never know that.

   4.  Muda sebelum tua

Semasa kita muda, kita x menhargai life.. Slalunye sedih, low self-esteem, rase malas, rase x bersemangat, cepat putus asa. But sedar x kita masa muda ni la kita perlu gunakan sebaiknya to create better life. Life is just like a book. Enjoy life and feel those pages with beautiful memories. I simply love this quote =)

   5.  Hidup sebelum mati

As in Gandhi saying, live as you were to die tomorrow, and learn as you were to live forever. Another favorite quote. Sementara kita hidup, gunalah kesempatan ni untuk menikmati kehidupan. Achive our ambition, plan what we want to be for the future, and don't forget Allah. Allah helped us a lot and bestowed us with an uncountable things in life. When we are in sorrow, He make us feel happy back again. Sometimes He tests us with challenges to make us become stronger and learn from mistakes. When we want something, pray to Him and insyaAllah He will fulfill the wish. Kadang2 rase malu untuk meminta lebih dari-Nya, sebab kita bukanlah hamba-Nya yang baik, tapi Dia tetap terus kurniakan ape yang kita minta dari-Nya. Betapa pemurah and penyayang-Nya Allah pada kita semua.

I hope Maal Hijrah ni dapat menjadikan kita manusia yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Perbaiki segala kesilapan yang pernah kita lakukan, improve ourselves and be a better person. Semoga kita semua dirahmati dan dilindungi, serta semoga semua matlamat dan cita2 kita tercapai insyaAllah.

Twilight Saga Review

This was my first time watching Twilight till the end. Yeah FIRST TIME ok!

You must be thinking, "What?? This is your first time? You've gotta be kidding me!" 

I watched it once before but only in the beginning and I stopped watching it coz I think it was kinda boring.

Slow plot of stories, an expected ending, not lot of actions- That's all I can describe for it at that time and I was not interested to watch it again. So, during last weekend my friend asked me to watch this movie with her. Even though, i was not a twilight die-hard-fan, I decided to watch it at the end just to relax my mind.

Synopsis: Bella and Edward was getting married and Bella got pregnant. They thought the baby was a troublesome and would cause Bella to die since the baby would be half vampire and maybe half human. Pregnancy with a vampire baby, which was much stronger than a human being made it impossible for Bella to give birth or else it would sacrifice her life. Bella loved the baby so much that she decided to keep it and struggled with it. Finally, Bella was died and after a moment she was alive but not as a human anymore.

My Comment: A very romantic movie but so little of action but yet full of suspense. Kinda scary too when Bella was about to deliver the baby. The overall theme was about love and sacrifice. When I reflect back, the story line was pretty much the same with what I've been through before..hehe..So I actually can feel the characters' feelings. I would give 2 stars out of 5 :) The missing stars was due to the less actions, very simple plot that you can actually take a guess of what would happen next and it doesn't make me feel hesitate to wait for the second part of the movie as I think I can predict what is the 2nd part would be about.

Confused..Any opinions??

Okay let say u guys study kat oversea. then sampai kat restoran, nampak ade menu "chilli cheese fries". So automatic terfikir, kandungannnya ade cili, cheese, and fries je..So kesimpulannya semua tu halal untuk dimakan. Then ketika sedang makan, korg rase mcm ade daging hancur yg mcm kat murtabak singapore tu. So, apakah korang akan buat? Nak bagi non muslim nye kawan, die x nak sebab die dh ade makanan die sendiri. Ke nak buang? Nanti mcm membazir pulak..pun dikira dosa sbb buang makanan. Nak makan trus sbb rase mcm xpe coz bukan sengaja bli and kita bli pun sbb x expect die ade meat, tapi xtau boleh ke x? Dosa ke x kalau case mcm ni? 

So any of you who are doing 'blog walking' and tbe2 drop by on my page, feel free to give your opinion k..hee

In life, people have several main needs that must be fulfilled in order to have a happy joyful life. I would say that the 3 main necessities would be:

1. Family 
2. Career
3. Relationship

So, if other people who won't give you any effects to all these three main needs, tend to hurt you, or make you annoyed , or make you feel like wanna give them a slap on their faces, so just IGNORE them! They won't give you any benefits, so thinking and worrying about them just a waste of time. Why you gonna sacrifice your happiness because of them? Do you like to see that they are happy but you're the one who are sad? That's just not worth it! So, focus on your life. Life is not about finding an identity, but life is about creating your life. Your life is your book, don't jump to the end to see if it's worth it. Just enjoy life and fill those pages with beautiful memories.

Arghhh u guys just make me miss home and the food so much! Tapi xpe semalam baru lepas makan roti jala and kari ayam, ayam berempah, beraneka jenis desserts..Haa sape ckp canada xde roti jala..hehe..siap ade open house gitu...pape pun, Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha semua! klu makan sedap2 jgn lupe org yg jauh kat perantauan ni eh..heee~

Alone But Not Lonely

I'm the kind of person who does not used to go out alone especially for shopping. But today I decided to buy a heater since my room gonna be so cold as the winter approaching. I wonder how I could survive for 2 years staying in the same house during winter without a heater. Really torturing! Couldn't sleep well and my body was shaking trying to fight the cold temperature. Since my class was cancelled today, I decided to go to the Walmart to buy a heater for my room. I've never been there before so I asked my friend and also tried to Google which bus I was supposed to take. It was raining and so freezing. The journey took about 30 mins roughly. Unfortunately, I was lost because I got off the bus one stop earlier since I saw a lot of shops over there. So I ended up buying heater at Canadian Tire, a department store selling lot of house stuff. Actually i think it was an advantage of being lost or else I won't find my heater because it turned out that the heater was not available in Walmart. Everything happened on a reason :)

Some advantages of going out alone:

1. Calm my mind
2. Make me think carefully before buying, nobody influence me, so less things I end up buying
3. Learn how to survive alone
4. Don't have to wait for people buying their stuffs, sometimes waiting so long really make me tired
5. Don't have to rush and have more time to decide
6. Walking alone make me think more about life, how grateful I am
7. Could observe various characters of people and make me think why  they behave in different ways
8. Appreciate life more
9. Realize how important smiling was. Seeing people smiling at me make me respect them more and by smiling can make people happy to treat us more (senyuman itu satu sedekah)
10. More alert to surrounding

Thus, I think sometimes we need to go out alone if we wanna find out who we are and that will make us appreciate life more and more! Yeah I mean sometimes, not all the time because I admit sometimes we need friends to treasure life more :)

Apabila sekali ia retak.... tentu sukar untuk kamu menambalnya semula.... Akhirnya ia dibuang....  Sedangkan jika kamu cuba memperbaikinya mungkin ia masih dapat dipergunakan lagi....

 Begitu juga jika kamu memiliki seseorang, TERIMALAH seadanya.... Janganlah kamu terlalu mengaguminya dan janganlah kamu menganggapnya begitu istimewa.... Anggaplah dia manusia biasa. Apabila sekali dia melakukan KESILAPAN bukan mudah bagi kamu untuk menerimanya.... akhirnya kamu KECEWA dan meninggalkannya.  Sedangkan jika kamu MEMAAFKANNYA boleh jadi hubungan kamu akan TERUS hingga ke akhirnya....  

Jika kamu telah memiliki sepinggan nasi... yang kamu pasti baik untuk dirimu. Mengenyangkan. Berkhasiat. Mengapa kamu berlengah, cuba mencari makanan yang lain.. Terlalu ingin mengejar kelezatan. Kelak, nasi itu akan basi dan kamu tidak boleh memakannya. Kamu akan menyesal.  

Begitu juga jika kamu telah bertemu dengan seorang insan..... yang pasti membawa KEBAIKAN kepada dirimu. MENYAYANGIMU... MENGASIHIMU... Mengapa kamu berlengah, cuba MEMBANDINGKANNYA dengan yang lain. Terlalu mengejar kesempurnaan. Kelak, kamu akan KEHILANGANNYA apabila dia menjadi milik orang ain Kamu juga yang akan MENYESAL....

To all Malays in Malaysia, let us all unite and defend our country

Even we have different ideologies and political views, remember that we are still in one religion (Muslim) and that doesn't mean that we hate each other and try to destroy our own races.

Don't let other people underestimate us as the man that you can see above had fought for his races without scared. His braveness to speak in front of a very powerful race (Jewish) had clearly shown us that he was willing to do anything just for his race and country. Even the western always create bad stories about him, he still stand strongly to his opinion and never afraid of them.

So, how many Malays nowadays are brave like him?

It's a reminder for myself and also to all of us. Don't afraid of criticism.

Am I look Like I'm Drunk?!

I think I don't look like this...I'm sure :P

My friend and I were having a window shopping. Both of us felt so sleepy since we just had lunch that made our stomachs became so full. So maybe we looked like walking zombies going for shopping in the mall. But I guess the way I walked was as usual and still straight. Suddenly, there was a very tall and tough guy came towards us. He asked me:

Guy: Hey do you know any liquor stores in here?

Me: Liquor store?!

(*BLUR FACE* since I felt so sleepy..muka mamai je kan..and dalam hati; eh takkan mamat ni tak tau liquor store kat sini...and the mall was just one level..obviously that store was quite big and easy to find)

Guy: Yes a liquor store like LCBO (a famous liquor store over here)

Me: Owh a liquor store! ( setelah kembali ke dunia nyata..hehe). Walk straight, turn left.

(Even I didn't drink, but the mall was so small and I could even memorize all the stores located in there)

Guy: (finding direction) Alright..thank you!

One question I'm wondering here is AM I LOOK LIKE I'M DRUNK???? LOL

Uishh..haram! Mentang2 lah aku tgh mengantuk and I might look like a zombie, tiba2 soalan tu pulak yang kene tanya..hahaha~

5 Tips To Have A Great Conversation

5 things you should ensure when having a conversation are:

1. Listen - When people talk, shut your mouth up and listen to them. If both parties are talking, who gonna listen then? I seriously hate when a person who I'm talking with, talk at the same time even though he or she knows that I am talking at that moment. Please show some respect when having conversation and listen!
2. Respond - When people are talking to you, please give response indicating you are listening to them. It shows your appreciation and your interest towards what they are talking about. Along the conversation, you don't have to stay plain quiet. At least say words that encourage them to continue their conversation such as "hmm okay", "then", "go on" and etc.
3. Comments - When people are done with their talks, don't directly continue to your topic yet. Give them some thoughts or comments because that's what they hope to hear from you. People won't tell you their problems accept they hope to hear some good comments from you. Comments, that's what we hope to hear first!
4. Respect - People communicate to express what they feel to other people. You don't have to argue with them about what they feel. Telling your opinion would be good, but please do it in the right way! For instance, I used to say that I think the food in that restaurant was kinda cheap. But Z said, he thinks the food was not cheap and he was explaining to me why he said that, complete with all the examples and fact. OMG, that's just so annoying! I didn't expect you to explain all that to me. Sorry I just not interested to hear all that!
5. Voice qualities - Two people say to you, " What a great idea." Although they are saying the same words, you can tell that one person is being enthusiastic and other disinterested just by recognizing their voice tones. So watch out your intonation when speaking to people!

Leo The Pouncer, My New Baby :)

Hye! My name is Leo The Pouncer :)

Just went to African Lion Safari last week and I was attracted to this little baby tiger

So I brought it back home and Leo will accompany me to sleep every night :P

Actually whenever I see Leo will remind me to the nice cat I met when I was waiting for the bus last time.The cat suddenly came towards me and sat there at the bus stop with me. At least I was not alone there and I played with it. When I wanna take its picture, it came nearer me and like cuddling with me..manja sangat2..When I got back home that night, before I went to sleep, I suddenly remembered the cat and I missed it so much. That's why I brought back Leo from the safari as its look has so much similarities with the cat I saw.

Is Coffee Good For You?

In Canada, it is so common to see everybody's holding a cup of coffee in their hands. The prof brought a cup of coffee before lecturing, students bought coffee before coming to the class till I realized that they didn't have much choices of hot drinks over here. Like in Malaysia, they have teh tarik, nescafe, horlicks, milo and a lot more. But here the hot drinks that are available usually are hot chocolate and coffee-based drinks. Either French vanilla, vanilla bean latte, cappuccino, English toffee and a lot more till I feel like 'grrrrrrrrr' i don't want any caffeine in my body anymore..STOPPPPP! Cold weather usually is the major factor I really need hot drink each time. So, I have no choice! Choosing hot chocolate will make me sleep peacefully in the class, so I just left with coffee as my only choice. Day after day, I get used to drink coffee. Let's see what benefits can coffee brings to our bodies:

• Become more alert and energetic suddenly
• When I was having headache, i didn't take any painkillers. Instead, I drank coffee and my headache just went away!
• promotes digestion
• decrease depression
• improves performance
• cancer preventive (antioxidants)
• reducing risk of diabetes
• good for heart and liver
• reducing risk of asthma
• cavity protection ( anti-bacterial and anti-adhesive compounds within coffee)

In fact, kopi adalah antara minuman Nabi Muhammad saw dahulu. Thus, coffee is good for health if consume in correct amount such as 2-4 cups per day. Remember, don't overdose sudah ye! Nanti jadi kesan lain pulak :P

The Truth is Unveiled!

Alright now the true story comes! Love can't be forced. It comes by itself even during an unexpected time. You never ask for it to come. As in my earlier post entitled "You're thief of my heart" , actually my heart was not fully stolen. Maybe just a half of it. I realized I couldn't accept him more than friend. Since we've been friends since a long time, I looked him more as my best friend rather than a boyfriend. I felt that our relationship was more cheerful when we were friends. It was kinda hard to decide in this situation. Confessing the truth to him might leave him hurtful and on the other hand, kept pretending in the relationship, made me felt guilty and that was not fair to him either. Different views and lifestyles, made me felt stronger that we couldn't get along further. After several days, I decided to face this situation and let him knew the truth as that seemed the best for him and me. Telling him my decision did upset him so much. I admitted he treated me very nice, cheered me up when I was upset. I did appreciate that so much but I just a normal human being who couldn't get away from making mistakes in life. Life was indeed too short to regret. It happened and I couldn't lie to my own feeling forever. Alhamdulillah he did accept that decision finally after several days and we became friends as before again. Maybe we are destined to be best friend. Thank you for being my best friend forever! I do appreciate that so much. Sorry as I couldn't give you the happiness that you wish for and I hope you will find someone who can give you much better than I could...

In 3rd year of chemical engineering life, it was the busiest life ever

since i lived 22 years on this earth

More projects, more assignments even though on the exam week itself.

Discussion and meeting everywhere made me felt like i was running a big business

seems like a very busy businesswoman and maybe the business level of the

business people lose to mine

yeahh that was my life before

Eating time, sleeping time, all became disordered

But it's gonna be sweet and memorable experience once you've done with all those things

I'm sure I'm gonna miss this student life.

And since I've been super busy with the projects and assignments

Once they were all done

I felt much relief and believe it or not

I think i'm gonna start loving exams since all you have to do is study!

No assignments, no meetings, no datelines, no classes

So i think i might be one of the abnormal people :P

Good Luck to my beloved readers who have exams as well!

I was 'a single lady' for almost a year and a half

and today i just end up my single stage of life

I couldn't believe myself being single for that quite a long time

But yeah I always wait for my prince charming to come into my life

But then prince charming is just a character in Disney

I have to go back to reality

and nobody perfect!

At first, I just thought we were just best friend

New York Scenery

Enjoy some of the NY photos being captured during my trip for the last winter break. It was so exciting and we celebrated New Year over there as well. Great memories ever! =.=

Spring Shopping Spree

The last time i did some shopping was during the New York Trip

So yesterday i went shopping again after almost 3 months didn't do shopping :P

Since the spring season is coming, a lot of clothes being sold had floral themes

So pretty and beautiful design of dresses and tops

Looks like i fail to control my desire to shop..Haha

So i bought 1 spring dress, 2 spring tops and one floral scarf

Is that a lot? Haha i think i spent a lot but as one of my friends said to me

-To get something pretty, there is price to pay-

kinda agree with that =P

feel so lazy to take the pics..so it's kinda similar with below but not really the same..lol

Then I bought one big box of Cinnabon and ate it with my friend while drinking Starbucks coffee

*My favourite Cinnamon roll ever!*

There were 2 guys sitting beside of our table

My friend took the picture of me

while i was about to take one of the Cinnabon out of the box to eat

One of the guy asked me ,

" Is it your birthday? happy birthday to you

*while clapping hand and singing* "

then i said

"No, it's not" ( dalam hati kenapa la mamat nie tibe2 jek..haih)

Then he just laughed.hahaha (maybe sebab dah malu kot:P)

Overall it was such a heaven to go out after a while! =)

Something has caught my attention!

Sometimes, you may stuck at one thing..

You came across it and you realized that the thing really caught your attention..

You were attracted to it and your heart blooming with excitement..

You kept thinking why among a lot of things that u saw, u just attracted to this one thing

You really hope you could get it and you kept waiting everyday to measure the chances

You were willing to do everything to get that thing

Possibility of getting that thing was 50-50

You already put some effort into it

So now, the result is unpredictable

But you don't have to be sad or worry about it

If you are destined to get that thing, you will get it no matter what

Time will reveal

So, chill babe!! Draw a smile on your face

And let all the problems gone from your head
